The brief

Twenty years of credibility, and a website that buried all of it. Shinecroft provide property inventory reports to landlords, letting agents and tenants, and the whole product is being trusted to document a property fairly.

The site needed to show that fast, on a phone, and turn a visit into an enquiry. It also needed to be findable: this is a local search market, and the firm was invisible in it.

What I did

Rebuilt it around what landlords, agents and tenants actually type into Google, not the company's internal view of its services. Service pages now match real searches, the language dropped the industry shorthand, and the proof moved up the page to where someone is still deciding.

The two decisions that mattered most were both about friction. Interactive pricing means nobody has to call for a ballpark figure, and the quote forms sit at the points of highest intent, not only on the contact page.

The result

Within weeks the site was on the first page for key Kent searches, and named in Google's AI Overview for the category.
