The brief

A home loans broker with an established WordPress setup and a site that no longer matched the business. Mortgages are a trust purchase, and the existing pages didn't carry the credibility the firm had earned.

The work came through a US agency: six pages, a full visual redesign, and new imagery throughout. Two constraints shaped it. The client's WordPress and Elementor setup had to stay, because their team already knew how to run it. And the finished site had to stay straightforward for that team to manage without me.

What I did

Designed the site in Figma first, so the client reacted to real pages instead of a half-finished build, then rebuilt it in WordPress and Elementor across all six pages. Generated the imagery with AI, which removed the usual bottleneck of hunting for stock photographs that never quite fit. Handled responsive behaviour throughout, and took the build from staging to production on WP Engine, including forms, integrations and redirects.

The about page, showing the team
The about page. People want to know who is handling their mortgage, so the team gets room here, not a paragraph and a stock photo.

The Google reviews section
Google reviews brought into the page itself, so the proof sits where the decision is being made instead of on another site.

David did an excellent job on our new website design and development. He was very responsive, quick to provide revisions, and provided insight and ideas from a strategic standpoint.
